Buzz,
What a weekend! As far as results go it has to be in contention for one of the most successful buzz weekends of all time. Certainly the most decorated! 🎖🏅🎖
Po Toi saw us finally get to paddle in our new boat, and she’s certainly fast! The mixed boat came an agonizingly close second place, while the men made it into the Tin Hau Cup (elimination top final), then the King of Kings final for the first time in 12 years!
It’s the first time Buzz has ever had a men’s team and mixed team in the top finals at Po Toi. Incredible work everyone.
Sai Kung was another great day, with both ladies’ boats and both men’s boats getting into their top finals, which is an amazing result in and of itself. It shows that the team has great depth and this bodes well for the rest of the season.
Everyone paddled their hearts out and we came home with ladies and mixed gold, while the men were only behind the fisherman teams.
Po Toi Results
Sai Kung Results
No rest for the wicked though. We are heading straight into our next fisherman's race event at Tai Tam. Make sure you are all resting these next few days in preparation. We know a few parties are happening but remember this – we lost first place at Po Toi by 0.1 seconds.
Let's race smart and win!

WATER ON THE JUNKS
For the junk this weekend we have purchased water pumps and will have plenty of water.
That means:
Don’t bring any single use plastic on race day
Bring a refillable bottle, filled with water, and you can refill on the junk.
STASH STASH STASH!!!
The stash is at the Shum Wo clubhouse, remember to pick yours up at the next training session.
