Tai O Race

On Sunday the team had our first race of the preseason at beautiful Tai O. The race was small boat 200m, with a ladies' team and men's team entered.

The ladies put in an amazing effort to place 2nd in the Silver Cup, while the men powered through to place 1st in the Silver Plate. The coaches were impressed at the consistently great execution throughout the day, fueled by great attitude and team spirit.

Well done everyone! Next up is Tsing Yi on September 14th. We've entered 4 boats, so keep up the excellent training.

Wingman

On Friday night we got together at our good sponsor Wingman, for a night of feasting. Alas, the record has not been beaten, but there's always next time! Great to see everyone outside of the boat.

Open Day New Date

The weather gods have been quite fickle lately, so we took the decision to postpone the Open Day to next week, Sunday 31st August.

Boat Maintenance

Just like raising a child, as the proverb says, running the team takes a village sometimes. Many thanks to Beracah, Ellie, Sara, Georgette, Rene, and Henry for taking some time today to help doing a little boat maintenance out at Deep Water Bay. We appreciate it!
