When we established Buzz in 2000, little did we know that it would maintain a high level of competition over the years and become an integral part of the dragon boat community in Hong Kong.

As the head coach since 2011, I have had the great pleasure of not only winning races but also witnessing my teammates transform from amateurs into skilled paddlers, from casual participants into disciplined athletes, and from individual competitors into true team players.

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, I can look back and recall all the triumphs and heartbreaks as if they were just yesterday. Time flies, but our mission remains as fresh as ever. “Competition, Culture, Community” is our motto, and it encapsulates all our strategic intentions.
