Damithri

I’m Damithri, you will get to know me as a fellow paddler and a Social Secretary of Buzz. I’m originally from Sri Lanka, I moved to Hong Kong in 2018 for my doctorate.

I joined Buzz in 2024 and loved it from day one. I am simply fascinated by the roots and cultural significance of dragon boating and the community it holds up until today. I learnt the passion, patience and perseverance needed to be part of a team sport with a diverse group of people.
