As the grandson of immigrants from Fujian, I've wanted to reconnect with my Southern Chinese roots through travel, meeting local communities, and rediscovering traditions since moving to Hong Kong in 2015.

I joined Buzz three years ago through my flatmate — its then men's captain, since I found its culture and mission matched well with my current life goals while also being an outlet to do competitive sports again since my last stint swimming in high school.

After accepting the Exec’s offer to step up as the club's social secretary amid a sudden vacancy last year, I’m now beyond excited to lead our 25th Anniversary celebrations with so many special events planned.

My love for good F&B, music, and seeing people who would be unlikely friends share a big hug drives me to contribute to this team whether on or off the water — racing hard so we can party even harder after.
